It's convenient for us to take to the mountains and hills in winter to ski - nowhere in Europe is that far away, although some people are quite happy to fly to Canada or the States for skiing holidays as well.

It's a wonderful feeling to ski downhill at speed, through trees and surrounded by magnificent mountain views, then to enjoy drinks and perhaps a meal with other skiers later.

Skiing can be an expensive sport, and this page is for those who prefer to rent a ski chalet or apartment rather than take a package holiday. Renting a chalet or apartment can be more flexible with breaks of varied duration on offer.

Comfortable and private house on the edge of a small spa town in between Cracow and Zakopane in the hills of southern Poland. <p>The town of Rabka Zdroj is built around a large central park with paths and trails for walking and cycling, childrens' play areas, park restaurant, tennis courts, outdoor theatre with regular cultural and folk performances, horse and cart rides etc.</p>

Comfortable 5 bedroom holiday home on the edge of a small spa and ski town in between Cracow and Zakopane in the hills of southern Poland. Beautiful views.
